DARIO DI VIETRI made his professional debut in 2009/2010 as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly for Operalombardia. As the winner of the competition “ Una voce per l’Arena” tenor Dario Di Vietri made his debut at the Arena di Verona as Calaf in Turandot conducted by D. Oren directed by F. Zeffirelli in the summer 2014. This led to many engagements throughout Italy and worldwide: Arena di Verona, Opera di Roma, San Carlo of Naples, Petruzzelli of Bari, Verdi of Salerno, Opera de Oviedo, Greek National Opera, Maggio Fiorentino, Seoul Arts Center, Regio of Parma, Belgrade National Theatre, Bucharest National Opera, Ankara State Opera where he is singing protagonist roles like Radames in Aida, Riccardo in Un Ballo in Maschera, Calaf in Turandot, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Renato Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, Samson in Samson et Dalila, Don José in Carmen, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana, Manrico in Trovatore.
Mr Di Vietri’s past season 2017 includes the opening of the New Year with a Puccini Gala at Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra broadcasted on Greek National Television, Riccardo in Un Ballo in Maschera at Bucharest National Opera, Radames in Aida at National Opera of Belgrade, Radames in Aida at Bucharest National Opera, Renato Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut at the Seoul Arts Center, Cavaradossi in Tosca at Haifa Symphony Orchestra directed by S. Lee Weiss and conducted, Don Josè in Carmen at Festival of Pravets Bulgaria, First cast of Cavaradossi at Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago, Don José in Carmen at Tang Xianzu International Music Festival of Fuzhou - China, Manrico in Trovatore at Cairo Opera House.
The 2018 season includes the opening of the New Year with a Puccini Gala in Lucca at Teatro del Giglio, Radames in Aida at Dubai Opera for Warsaw Opera Narodowa, Radames in an important Production at Gyza Pyramids - Egypt, Requiem Verdi for Simfonica de Balears in Mallorca’s Cathedral in front of the Queen of Spain, Calaf in Turandot at Opera of Stara Zagora - Bulgaria reproduced in summer 2018 in Pravets Mozart Festival and in Stara Zagora in November 2018, Cavaradossi in Tosca at Sava Center for Belgrade National Opera, Don Josè in Carmen at Wielki Teatr New Production of Andrzej Chryra conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson, Don Josè in Carmen at Lanzhou Theatre in China, Radames in Aida and Cavaradossi in Tosca at Iasi Romanian National Opera, Radames in Pleven Festival Bulgaria and in Cairo Opera house.
The 2019 season includes Don Josè in Carmen for Opera Carolina, Don Josè in Carmen at Wielki Teatr, Calaf in Turandot at National Kaohsiung Center for the Art of Taiwan in laboration with the Deutsche Oper Am Rhein of Dusseldorf, Manrico in Trovatore at the National Opera of Tirana, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana at the Eptapyrgion Festival in Greece with the Orchestra of State of Thessaloniki, Don José in Carmen for Taormina Opera Stars, Radames in Cairo Opera House,Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana at Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari conducted by R. Palumbo, Don José in Carmen at Ulsan Opera and Seoul Arts Center.
In season 2020/2021 he will debut Maurizio di Sassonia in Adriana Lecouvreur at Petruzzelli di Bari where he will also sing Radames conducted by R. Palumbo, will be Calaf in Turandot at National Kaohsiung Center for the Art of Taiwan, will be Renato Des Grieux and Teatro del Giglio of Lucca and Tuscany Theatres.

Born in Bari, Di Vietri studied at Conservatory of Milan under the guidance of Vittorio Terranova, at School of Opera of Teatro Comunale of Bologna then improving with worldwide famous artists as Jaume Aragall, Luciano Pavarotti, Katia Ricciarelli, Bonaldo Giaiotti and Bruna Baglioni, he is currently followed by Sergio La Stella ( Opera of Rome) and Nelson Guido Calzi (Scala of Milan) for repertoire and for technique and interpretation by Bruna Baglioni in Rome where he currently resides.
