The Ensemble Colegium Musicum Ragusinum was founded in the early 1960s in Dubrovnik, gathering prominent Dubrovnik musicians. Continuing the rich musical tradition of Dubrovnik, it has nurtured a program ranging from Baroque music to works by contemporary 20th-century composers, many of whom dedicated their compositions to several known Dubrovnik musicians. Over the years, numerous generations have passed through this ensemble. They have collaborated with many artists from the region and beyond. Since its foundation, the ensemble has been an integral part of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival and a cornerstone of the city's entire musical life. This ensemble and its various chamber groups have performed in Italy, the United Kingdom, Austria, Montenegro, France, Hungary, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Germany.
Colegium Musicum Ragusinum is an ensemble that gathers between 10 to 20 professional musicians, under the artistic leadership of conductor Slobodan Begić. Begić is a recipient of numerous accolades, including the award from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board for his contribution to the promotion of Dubrovnik's culture through organizing concerts during the tourist season, as well as the City of Dubrovnik Award for successful tours in Slovenia and France in 2021. With over 30 years of experience in organizing musical events of this kind, the ensemble continues to attract attention from numerous Dubrovnik visitors. Its rich and attractive repertoire places it among the most diverse ensembles in Croatia and beyond.
Ansambl Colegium Musicum Ragusinum osnovan je početkom 60-tih godina u Dubrovniku i okupljao je eminentne galzbenike iz Dubrovnika. Nastavljajući bogatu glazbenu prošlost Dubrovnika njegovao je program od barokne glazbe sve do suvremenih skladatelja 20.stoljeća a mnogi od njih su posvetili svoje skladbe upravo ovim dubrovačkim glazbenicima. Do današnjih dana kroz ovaj sastav prošle su brojne generacije. Surađivali su sa brojnim umjetnicima iz regije i šire. Od samog osnutka su bili neizostavni dio Dubrovačkih ljetnih igara te okosnica cjelokupnog glazbenog života Dubrovnika. Kao ansambl sačinjen od komornih sastava nastupao je u Italiji, Velikoj Britanij, Austriji, Crnoj Gori, Francuskoj, Mađarskoj, Sjevernoj Makedonij, Sloveniji, Njemačkoj.
Colegium Musicum Ragusinum je ansambl koji okuplja od 10 do 20 profesionalnih glazbenika po potrebi pod umjetničkim vodstvom dirigenta Slobodana Begića, dobitnika brojnih priznanja među kojima je i nagrada Turističke zajednice Grada Dubrovnika za doprinos promociji dubrovačke kulture organizacijom koncerata tijekom turističkih sezona i nagrada Grada Dubrovnika za uspješne turneje u Sloveniji i Francuskoj 2021. godine. Svojim bogatim iskustvom u organizaciji glazbenih događanja ove vrste već više od 30 godina privlači pažnju posjetitelja našega grada. Bogati i primamljiv repertoar ovaj ansambl stavlja u red narazovrsnijih sastava u Hrvatskoj i šire.
